① Shonan Resort Spa Ryusenji no Yu Shonan Chigasaki

“Shonan Resort Spa Ryusenji no Yu Shonan Chigasaki” is a super sento created as a “healing resort space” in Shonan, accessible by free shuttle bus from JR “Chigasaki Station” and “Hiratsuka Station.” The facility also has parking for 326 vehicles, making it convenient to visit by car. This hot spring facility is also notable because “Ryusenji no Yu,” known for opening Japan’s first bath facility called a “super sento” and establishing the original super sento business model, opened its Shonan branch here.
The facility offers a wide variety of baths, including high-concentration carbonated baths, silky bubble pot baths, Fujimi rock baths, sitting baths, reclining baths, silk baths, sitting carbonated baths, children’s baths, shape-up baths, and electric baths — a total of 10 different types. Among them, the high-concentration carbonated bath is especially recommended, as Ryusenji no Yu was the first bath facility in Japan to introduce artificial carbonated baths.
The facility is also equipped with saunas (Men: Auto Löyly every 30 minutes / Women: Herbal Aroma Sauna), cold baths, and outdoor relaxation spaces. The sauna temperatures are very high, making for an intense and satisfying sauna experience! After enjoying the wide variety of baths and saunas, guests can relax in the restaurant and lounge areas as well.

② Noten Yumoto Yukaisoukai Chigasaki

“Noten Yumoto Yukaisoukai Chigasaki” is a super sento located about a 2-minute walk from JR “Kita-Chigasaki Station,” featuring the natural hot spring water of “Shonan Chigasaki Onsen” flowing up from underground. Shonan Chigasaki Onsen is also known as the “Beauty Skin Bath” and the “Heat Bath,” as it is believed to smooth the skin and warm the body. Free shuttle buses are also available from JR “Chigasaki Station.”
One of the key attractions of this facility is its extensive variety of baths and amenities. The facility includes seven different bath types: open-air original hot spring baths, Shigaraki pot baths, reclining baths, steam kiln baths, outdoor jacuzzis, high-concentration carbonated baths, rotating seasonal baths, and indoor baths.
The facility also includes saunas, cold baths, and outdoor relaxation spaces, allowing guests to fully relax while enjoying the many hot spring options. Sauna options include far-infrared saunas (men and women), salt saunas (men and women), and mist saunas (women only).
