“Onari Sauna” is a new community-style sauna facility that opened in Onarimachi, Kamakura in autumn 2025. It is a mixed-gender sauna facility where guests wear swimsuits, allowing men and women to enjoy the sauna together.

The sauna room uses a unique ventilation system and two types of steam—saturated steam and superheated steam—to create a comfortable environment where guests can feel strong heat without discomfort. One of its distinctive features is its original bathing method called “Human Loyly,” where guests pour cold water over themselves inside the sauna room. This allows the body to warm deeply while creating an immersive sauna experience.

On the first floor, the drink counter offers original herb water made with local Kamakura and Shonan ingredients, as well as craft beer, natural wine, and other drinks. This makes the post-sauna relaxation time even more enjoyable.

The rooftop wooden deck serves as an outdoor relaxation area where guests can unwind while feeling the Kamakura sky. It has become popular as a relaxing “totonoi” spot that can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to experienced sauna lovers.
