① Shonan Resort Spa Ryusenji-no-Yu Shonan Chigasaki
“Shonan Resort Spa Ryusenji-no-Yu Shonan Chigasaki” is a super sento that opened in Shonan as a relaxing resort-style bathing facility. It can be accessed by free shuttle bus from JR Chigasaki Station and JR Hiratsuka Station. There is also parking for 326 cars, making it convenient to visit by car! This facility is also part of the Ryusenji-no-Yu brand, which opened Japan’s first bathing facility called a “super sento” and became the original model for the super sento business.
There are 10 types of baths, including a highly concentrated carbonated bath, silky bubble pot bath, Fujimi rock bath, sitting bath, reclining bath, silk bath, sitting carbonated bath, children’s bath, shape-up bath, and electric bath. Among them, the highly concentrated carbonated bath is especially recommended, as Ryusenji-no-Yu was the first bathing facility in Japan to introduce an artificial carbonated spring!
The facility also has saunas, cold baths, and outdoor air bathing spaces. The men’s sauna features automatic loyly every 30 minutes, while the women’s sauna offers a herbal aroma sauna. Since the sauna temperature is high, it provides an intense and refreshing sauna experience! After enjoying the wide variety of baths and saunas, guests can relax at the restaurant or rest area.

② Noten Yumoto Yukaisoukai Chigasaki
“Noten Yumoto Yukaisoukai Chigasaki” is a super sento located about a 2-minute walk from JR Kita-Chigasaki Station. It uses natural hot spring water called “Shonan Chigasaki Onsen,” which springs from underground. Shonan Chigasaki Onsen is also known as the “beauty skin bath” and “warming bath,” and is said to smooth the skin and warm the body. A free shuttle bus is also available from JR Chigasaki Station.
One of the main features of this facility is its wide range of bath facilities! There are seven types of baths, including the open-air source bath, Shigaraki pot bath, reclining bath, steam bath, open-air jacuzzi, highly concentrated carbonated bath, seasonal bath, and indoor bath.
In addition, the facility also has saunas, cold baths, and outdoor air bathing spaces, allowing guests to refresh themselves while enjoying a wide variety of hot spring baths. The sauna options include far-infrared saunas for both men and women, salt saunas for both men and women, and a mist sauna for women!
