List of Beaches in Hayama Town
① Morito Beach

Morito Beach is a popular seaside destination known for its wide sandy shore and calm, shallow waters, making it ideal for families and young visitors.
The beach offers stunning views of the torii gate and lighthouse on Najima Island, as well as Enoshima and even Mt. Fuji on clear days.
During the summer swimming season, many beach houses (temporary seaside restaurants and facilities) line the shore, creating a lively atmosphere. Located next to Morito Daijinja Shrine, the area also features numerous restaurants beyond the beach houses.

Rocky areas on both ends of the beach allow visitors to enjoy tide-pooling and exploring marine life. In 2013, it was selected as one of the “World’s 100 Best Beaches,” making it one of Hayama’s most popular seaside spots.
Please note that parts of the beach are close to residential areas. Barbecues are prohibited due to concerns about smoke, odors, and noise affecting nearby residents.
