List of Beaches in Kamakura City
① Zaimokuza Beach

Zaimokuza Beach is a calm, shallow-water beach located in a sheltered bay. Among Kamakura’s three beaches, it has the longest shoreline and offers well-developed facilities, including numerous beach houses.
Situated at the easternmost end of Kamakura, its gently sloping shallow waters make it especially recommended for families with children.
In 2025, the popular children’s floating attraction, the “Water Roller,” will return! It is available for rental at the lifeguard station, but due to high demand, waiting times are expected. Arriving early is recommended.

Following 2024, accessibility improvements continue in 2025 with cooperation from Kanagawa Prefecture and the local beach association. The beach is becoming increasingly barrier-free, allowing wheelchair users to enjoy the seaside comfortably.
A boardwalk has been installed along the beach, and amphibious wheelchairs are available for rental at the lifeguard station. Additionally, the newly developed “Yuigahama Minna no Slope” provides direct access from Route 134 to the beach restrooms, further improving accessibility for wheelchair users.
