🌿 Shonan’s Craft Beer Culture Arrives in Zushi!

On October 11 (Sat) and 12 (Sun), 2025, Zushi’s Kameoka Hachimangu Shrine will host the first-ever “Zushi Hayama Oktoberfest.”
Led by Hayama Brewing and Miura Brewery, this festival brings together eight craft breweries from the Shonan–Miura Peninsula, creating a new “crossroads of Shonan culture” where local flavors and people come together. 🍻✨
🗓 Event Overview — A Festival Uniting Zushi’s Town and Shrine
・Date: October 11 (Sat)–12 (Sun), 11:00–19:00
・Venue: Kameoka Hachimangu Shrine (Zushi 5-chome, Zushi City)
・Admission: Free (food and drinks sold separately)
Nestled between the sea and mountains, Kameoka Hachimangu offers a serene setting where visitors can enjoy craft beer amid the crisp autumn breeze. 🍁
Organized by the local favorites Hayama Brewing and Miura Brewery, the event is guided by the theme: “Connecting local breweries and sharing Shonan’s natural spirit.”
It aims to create a place where land, people, and culture are gently connected through beer.
🍻 Participating Breweries — A Gathering of Shonan’s Unique Flavors

Eight breweries representing the Shonan coastal area—from Zushi, Hayama, Kamakura, Chigasaki, Hiratsuka, Yokosuka, and Miura—will join the festival. Each embodies a local, community-driven brewing philosophy.
・Yorocco Beer (Kamakura): A pioneer in Shonan’s craft scene; known for its natural, balanced taste.
・15 Brewery (Hayama): Fresh, ocean-inspired beers from a scenic coastal location.
・Barbaric Works (Chigasaki): Bold, hop-forward brews with creative flair.
・Yggdrasil Brewing (Hiratsuka): Fruity, easy-drinking styles for all palates.
・TSUJI Brewing (Chigasaki): Pairs local ingredients with craft innovation.
・GRANDLINE BREWING (Yokosuka): Crisp lagers reflecting the spirit of a port town.
・Hayama Brewing: Local-focused host brewery.
・Miura Brewery: Collaborates with local farmers to craft community-rooted beers.
Each booth will offer 3–4 varieties (around 300ml, ¥700~), from bold IPAs to light ales — a perfect way to explore Shonan’s diverse beer scene. 🍺
🍴 Shonan Gourmet × Craft Beer Pairings 😋

Complementing the beers are locally inspired dishes from beloved Shonan eateries:
・Umi to Ketchup: Famous hot dogs with savory sausages that pair perfectly with beer.
・Oden Sakaba Akkambe: Rich, warming oden to enjoy on cool autumn nights (Oct 12 only).
・Isshiki Base: A popular Hayama café serving snacks and sweets, great for families.
In total, seven local restaurants from Zushi and Hayama will participate, offering a fusion of regional cuisine and craft beer culture unique to this event. 🍕
